Hey all, has anyone been enrolled in or completed a program with the above consulting company. They’re based out of Florida and seems to have the same blended online/ 1 weekend per month model as Med Life institute. I’ve yet to see anything online not reviews or comments. Please share if you’ve heard of them.

So true you .The sky's are the limit once you have attended a program and get licensed. There are many opportunities.

Yes indeed! I haven't read all of the comments on this thread but can appreciate when folks recognize that there is more than one path to becoming an RN and sustaining a career. To each their own = )

, I'm amused at how confidently you speak on someone else's career path.

This was my career path. I served on many hiring committees and read many C Vs. You don't know what you don't know. The hiring committee investigate everything. CVs, transcripts, reference letters and more.  At the interview  when a sample teaching session happens.....we expect expert delivery of  classroom content with references to a clinical situation, application to lab. We all work many weekends to keep current.

I can only speak on my career path. (of course yours will vary)..but after working bedside, completing my Masters, changing states, I have found my career path a straight one.  And I NEVER had to apologize for my experience/degree. I was hired out of 7 to 12 candidates at each job application. Wishing you the same earned luck.

All of my credentials are valid. And as far as I'm concerned, we took the same exam to be licensed. But I do applaud your straight path. So far in my career as a Clinical Educator/ consultant, I've not been at the mercy of large application pools or luck but I'm glad you beat the odds with your credentials.  I've learned after 14 yrs in healthcare, that the accredited school bedside RN is no more capable than the approved school bedside RN and typically able to be hired at Magnet hospitals once enrolled in a BSN program. I encourage everyone to follow their path. Continued success to you at your institution ?

Clinical Educator/ consultant,

Are your educator tasks involved with evaluating new products, annual skills such as  CPR, blood glucose testing etc? You will be great with this. You know the staff, know the policies, know the skill steps of your institution.

But what is it that you are consulting on ( Scientific literature with  analysis summarized/ recommendations needed and design for implementation) . I may be overreaching here.

may be you are talking about consulting with new grads and their preceptors. What do you think of the problems with NYS and unapproved schools of nursing in Florida?

It will be nice for students that recently attended the Essential school of nursing RN program to give their honest review on the school to help intending applicants in making informed decisions. If anyone has any info on Jetmapp also, it will be appreciated. Thank you

It's Approved meaning you can sit for your RN NCLEX. My lpn program was also approved and I sat for my boards with no issues. I think that choosing an accredited vs approved program comes down to your career goals. I don't work at the bedside or in a patient care setting and after this program I plan to attend a RN to MSN program to go into nursing education/public community health. So for me the RN licenses is my priority. Not so much the credits to transfer etc.

clinical has not yet started for me. I start clinical rotation in August. But it's what you were told. 1week a month etc.

the test are fair. You have to study and we are required to do UWorld study bank questions which help prepare for exams and answering NCLEX style questions.

Please do you know if the school still maintains standard? I want to enroll in their upcoming program and will appreciate a review from someone who knows about the school please ??

As a current student in clinicals  now. Just recently they have added NCLEX review. Hence, your paperwork will not be sent to the BON until the review is complete. Also, there is 80% of I Human which must be completed before you can take the exit exam. As for the program it's self Hard work!

Please what is I Human? Also the NCLEX review and the 2nd stuff you mentioned, do they make you start to do it from beginning of the program s you don't have delay in your name being sent to BON or it is self paced?

Also I forgot to ask something. Do they give you materials on the NCLEX review to do or they let you choose any NCLEX review to do throughout the program?

Not surprised the school is adding a barricade to graduate. From12/20/21 to 1/20/22    36%  have passed NCLEX.

go to this site, scroll to Essential Nursing (or put in page 49) and reality will be presented to you.

I joined the Essential School of Nursing (ESN) in February 2022 and I graduated in February 2023.  I did NCLEX for the 1st time in June and passed. I applied for endorsement immediately and within 3 wks,  the Georgia Board of Nursing responded.  They asked for specific things which I provided.  I am waiting for their decision and meanwhile, I have continued to work as an LPN.  As a student in any school, you must do your part.  I can recommend ESN to any student. Whether Georgia endorses my license or not, I am an RN. I can move to Florida and practice!
