On vacation I -

Met, 3 Idiots , 11 Pets and 65 Hunks.
Ate 4 bananas (K+ found in bananas) with 5 glasses of milk (ca+ found in milk), read 2 magazines (magnesium) about 2 fossils (phosphorus).

Did 15 BUN exercises and drank 1 Creatine shake (Creatinine) .

I LOVED WHAT YOU HAVE DONE WITH THESE LAB VALUES. i'M JUST STARTING MY FIRST SEMESTER OF NURSING, AND THAT WOULD BE GREAT FOR ME!! THANKS!!

Can you clarify how the bananas (K+), etc. tie in with the actual lab values (#s)?

The lab values are on all lab sheet reports; the KEY is knowing WHY the lab values are up or down.

Nope. I'm just as lost.
Looks like all the numbers are the middle values for each of the labs - ie 4 bananas for K+ (for the potassium in the bananas) refers to a level of 4 for K+ which is between 3.5-5. HTH

Hey Jerico, don't feel dumb, most of us ain't gettin it either and I love your point. You put into words what I was thinking. The key is understanding the lab values. I have them all in my head from years of practice but if that post helps someone then I say yeah! but it's french to me!
