I took the NCLEX two times, passing the second time. I used Kaplan both times. The only difference I did the second time was also supplement it with Saunders for some content review that I needed. I agree that you must do 100% of the program including watching the content videos, question videos, 100% of the Q-bank of purchased and all the question trainers. I did find it helpful particularly the second time around. Good luck!
I aslo enrolled at kaplan and their review materials is guided from simple to complex matter which I like. I also like their decision tree strategies in dealing ways on how to answer question by the use of elimination using the abc's, maslows, the physical need over psychological needs and assessment over implementation question. although it needs lot of practice on question to master it but its very helpful sharpening your crtical thinking. just study their review materials whole heartedly and add some prayers to it.
mind you guys even if im a foreign educated nurse (philippines) basing on theirs statistic only few pass on their first attempt I prove to myself that they are wrong that I will pass this exam in just 1 take which I did. passing the nclex exam does not depend on where you are educated because what is taught is basically the same just differ only on the clinical skills but with theory the same. nothing is impossible in these wolrd just believe in yourself that you can do it like what others did.
even if you are prepared for the exam very well anything can happen so be ready to face whatever outcome may it be. just dnt lose your dream of becoming a full pledge RN. best of luck to those who are taking the exam.:loveya:

The hospitals around here will pay for New Graduates to go to the Kaplan Review. I have heard mixed opinions on Kaplan. I was just wondering if anyone on here had done the review and found it to be helpful?
