Who else out there is preparing to apply to either Wesleyan or TCU for 2008? I'm just preparing to sit for my CCRN (I have my CNRN that Wesleyan will accept but not TCU) & take my GRE. I know the deadline for TCU is October & Wesleyan has moved theirs up to Dec. 1. Not much time left. Anyone out there received any tips for admission?:uhoh21:

Wise decision...those characters in the unit are likely to be split 50/50 between the well-wishers and the haters. (lol) :icon_roll Don't let anyone steal your joy!!

So I called TCU today and I'm on the alternate list. I'm soooo bummed, but I won't count it quits until August 22. :o

Well, I got alternate at TCU and TWU.:o. Best of luck to the rest of you that got alternate and congrats to the rest of you that got in.:up: Hope to see you in the fall.

So does the fact that I havent heard anything from TWU mean that I probably didn't get in? Could it be that I am wait listed? anyone have any clue?

The letters were sent out last Wednesday, so maybe your mail is SLOW! I live in Kansas and haven't received mine either. I would think you should get it in the next day or so, because everyone gets a letter even if they are an alternate. GOOD LUCK!

So I got a letter from TWU, I am an alternate. I guess that is better than nothing. Does any body have any idea what my chances are? For instance how many alternates, etc... By the way congrats to all those who got in.

I already paid my deposit for TCU, but got the alternate list letter from TWU today. Good luck to all you that are still waiting.

I know EXACTLY where Decatur is. I grew up in Bridgeport! All my family still lives out there. One of the anesthesiologists at Decatur is the brother of a guy I went to school with. His mom is a CRNA and is going to be part owner of the new hospital they are building in Bridgeport. My moms best friends daughter is the (or was, not sure if she still is) the OR manager. It's a very small place and a very, very small world out there! If u move there EVERYONE will know EVERYTHING u do! Trust me! But it's very small town nice and people still have manners, etc. The hospital is even doing hearts now so they are starting to pick up more with surgery. I know many of the docs there cuz they've treated my whole family for years, others cuz they were interns at the teaching hospital I worked at one point in time, and for the most part they are a really good group. Told u, it's a small world! You'll enjoy the small town hospitality though. Good luck!

I just wanted to send a huge congrats to everyone in the process of trying to get into CRNA school. First of all :up: and:w00t: to all who know they are in and secondly and big to all who have been selected as alternates. The accomplishment of getting even an alternate chance this time is incredible, the application pool was from what I have read/seen, OUTSTANDING. So please don't be :o, PARTY like the winners you are !!!!!! :balloons:
