Who else out there is preparing to apply to either Wesleyan or TCU for 2008? I'm just preparing to sit for my CCRN (I have my CNRN that Wesleyan will accept but not TCU) & take my GRE. I know the deadline for TCU is October & Wesleyan has moved theirs up to Dec. 1. Not much time left. Anyone out there received any tips for admission?:uhoh21:

Congratulations on your acceptance. I don't live in the DFW area, so I'm still waiting.......and waiting.....and waiting. Hope to meet you in the fall.

Wow what a ride. I received a letter of acceptance from

Northeastern U. with the intent of joining the Army CRNA program. I was declined an interview 2 years running from TWU. But saturday I received the good news from TCU, what a great feeling. I think I will be going with the TCU program allthough the Army program is very attractive. TCU is a great program and is my first choice. I got my clinical site and couldn't be happier. Congrats to all who have been accepted and keep trying to those who did not. There are many who don't get in on the first try. That doesn't mean you are not qualified only that it's not your time. I was very dissapointed last year to be declined but that only strengthened my resolve. I hear "they" look for dedication and commitment and a willingness to strive to fullfill the qualifications and even improve upon them.

Did anyone else get assigned to TCU's new clinical site in Houston? I'm stoked!!

Where is ur clinical site?

My clinical site is Plaza Medical center.

Everyone pray and cross your fingers for me getting into TCU! I've been having PVCs the last couple of days, worrying about my letter. Congrats to everyone who got in. I'll keep you posted and hopefully will see you in the fall.

Whoa, not so fast!! Did you sign anything accepting your slot in the USAGPAN?? Did you accept your commission?? If so, you need to talk to your recruiter before you make contact with TCU.

You'll do fine! Stop worrying and just relax. Honestly, with the holiday don't stress if u don't get it till Thursday or Friday. I know u want it tomorrow but don't get worked up if it's not there.:grn:

Was wondering that myself. I worked as civilian nurse for the army & know officers who went to the CRNA program at San Antonio. You couldn't even apply unless u were in agreement with the military. Just wondering how u got acceptance to military school unless u signed up? I'm with armynse, better check asap cuz u may already be committed!

Anyone can apply. It is just a long tedious process that includes an application for commission and the physical as well as applications to Northeastern and LTHET. I have not signed my oath but my recruiter has really been pressuring me to do so. I think the Army program is awesome and one I would recommend. However a long seperation would make the family situation extremely difficult

Just want to wish everyone that's waiting on letters today....GOOD LUCK!!!!!! :anpom:
