Forsyth Tech PN Program 2014

U.S.A. North Carolina

Hello all!

I just finished up my application to the Practical Nurse program at Forsyth Tech, I was SO nervous when I was doing my MAR review I could literally hear my heart beating! Lol, I had about 95 points which I'm guessing is okay, how many points have you all had? How did you feel about the teas test? I felt like the science portion was almost impossible to properly prepare for. Am I the only one super nervous? What did make me feel better was the admission coordinator said they are accepting 6 more seats for the fall term which is great!

Nothing from FTCC for me today. Not feeling like that's a good sign

I was thinking maybe they mailed them today, so we should get them tomorrow? I don't expect for them to mail them out on a Saturday and I don't think we would get them the same day they mailed it (depending on where you live) I'm trying to stay optimistic. :banghead:

Wait...sweetlady is my old account I'm not sure why it's showing up now lol but this is Emcowan23

No letter today :/

If I get in I won't know whether to choose DCCC or forsyth tech. If I don't get in it will be an easy choice.

DCCC...absolutely. love that school!

Can you give me some info about DCCC MBDuplisea? I've been doing tons of research but overall I know that DCCC, forsyth tech and GTCC are all awesome! I'm leaning towards DCCC though. They are super nice over in admissions. :)

I graduated from GTCC last summer from LPN. Not a huge fan of that program at that school. I also live in WS so the drive to clinical was super long and I had to get up really early. I've gone to DCCC for years off/on and the instructors truly want you to succeed. I've never had an instructor there I can't speak highly of. A few of my nursing friends grad from DCCC and all speak highly of their program. I couldn't apply for LPN to RN bridge there because I have not been working a full year yet. I have AA from FTCC and I've never been a fan of the school but it's close and I've worked at FMC for 10 years so im comfortable with the hospital as well.

Thanks for the info :)

It's actually a good sign! I applied for admission last semester and had my letter within two weeks of applying saying I hadn't gotten accepted. So, keep your head up lovely!

Thanks mpreavis!

Y'all think today is the day?! I heard school was closed yesterday if so idk if we will get them today. I didn't see where school was closed on the website?? I hope it wasn't and they sent them out yesterday!!
