Forsyth/Guilford Tech Spring 2012

Anyone applying for Spring 2012 Gtech or Ftech adn program? The deadlines are fast approaching and I would like to compare points etc since this is the first semester to enter using the TEAS V. I have around 150 points at Ftch...anyone applying now have something similar? More? Less? My nerves are about to get the best of me if the deadline doesn't roll around soon!!

Hey guys, have a question. I am applying for FTCC program for the Fall of 2012. I have almost all the classes done except for the computer class of some sort. Do they have an exam I can take to get exempted from that requirement? Or do you guys think it will hurt me if I do not have it?

You don't have to have it to qualify to be ranked, but it is a course that has to be done in order to graduate. But honestly i would get all pre-reqs out of the way, so you only have nursing classes to deal with once you get into the program. Good luck.

How is everyone doing with getting all there stuff completed? Orientation is right around the corner..I'm getting excited!!

When is your orientation day? Ours is 12/7 and so far i've gotten my physical/TB & flu shots out of the way. Tdaps and MMR are up to date. So all i have left to get is the varicella and hep A/B then after that i'm done getting shot up, until we have to do IV's on our fellow classmates :-)

Ours is 10/25. I got all my shots done, just gotta go Friday for my physical and my second Tb. Its getting closer everyday!

I've got everything done! I'm going to go up there (GTCC) one day this week and turn in all my stuff!

It helps that I work in a doctors office, though! Easy access to all the vaccines and drawing blood for the varicella titer. And I just had my annual/physical done last month! So I'm ready, ready, ready!!! Can't wait! :)

Ok...i STILL have not gotten any kind of letter...I assumed i would be getting a letter of denial, but i have not seen a thing!

I got my denial letter from FTCC on Friday and they said out of the 351 apps they chose the top 72 from points ranging from 154 - 183. something. I would call ms. S and find out where you're at in the mix of things.
