For anyone considering/beginning nursing school, let's help each other!!!

Sounds like a good idea! I watched your first video. I'm a male pre nursing student getting ready to start nursing school. You do a good job hiding your accent. I'm from Southern Indiana so I know what you mean about the twang. Take care.

Thank you for doing this. I look forward to hearing all about your journey as I begin mine as well. :)

Sounds like a great idea, but just a word of caution with such a public discussion of NS. Be careful with discussing, laughing about things that have happened with patients and faculty at school. I knew a girl who was dismissed from her program for making fun of a patient on her facebook page and another student printed it and showed it to the department.

Oh, I'm for sure going to be super careful. I may discuss vague aspects of my job not directly related to my patients at times but that's as far as it will go. I'm also not going to bad mouth any of my classmates or my instructors (though I have no reason to do so, everyone has been so wonderful so far!) My main plan is to just share different things about the program, my experiences, how the first test went, skills testing, study habits, and anything else I'm asked to talk about (within reason, of course). I'm really excited about this though so I'm glad I'm seeing a little bit of interest because there would be no point in continuing to do this if no one is going to benefit from it!!
