Hi all,
I am graduating in May and have started sending out my resume for different RN positions in the hopes that they will let me work as a GN until I sit for the NCLEX in a few months.
So, everyone else and their brother is looking for jobs too right? I KNOW that if I can just get in front of someone, I can make them understand and see how passionate I am about nursing and hopefully someone will take a chance on me.
That being said, I don't want my resume to just become another piece of paper in the stack. I would like to call and follow up, but I don't want to come across as being pushy or a pain in the you know what. Any suggestions on what the best way is to approach the HR Department? Who do I ask to speak to? I have confirmation that they received my resume (all sent electronically), so I don't know what to use to try to open a conversation.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
