If you can get a hold of someone at the hospital then go for it, it can't hurt,m but I have found that it can be very hard to get a number, much less get anyone to talk to you. I kept applying for a year online before I got a call. Most of my apps still say "no longer accepting job applications" but they never officially "reject" my app either. Its really frustrating. Good luck!

Ive applied for a few positions at my local hospital (patient transporter, sitter ect). My job profile says that the positions are no longer accepting applications and they have been that way for about 2-3 weeks. Is it appropriate to call and follow up on a job app? If so, what should I say? This is my first time applying for hospital jobs so Im not entirely sure whats proper etiquette
