FNP nursing research class

Published

I just started the FNP program in January. I'm curious about other schools nursing research requirements for their research class. Can anyone who's recently finished this course share their experience? In a lot of posts from 3+ years ago it sounded like an extremely challenging course...everywhere. I also hear it is full of group work...? I find research interesting, its just that there seems to often be 1 or 2 people in the group who are lazy and dont pull their weight and I ended up doing a lot of it because others slacked off (I want a good grade). Any input would be appreciated =) I also want to get done ASAP, so I am looking at other classes to transfer in. If anyone has any ideas, let me know.

If you are involved in a group project...keep meticulous notes on what has been discussed, who "volunteered" for what, time tables and all communication. This way if you have someone, or more, not pulling their weight, you can bring it to the instructor's attention. I was involved in one such class and out of the 6 of us, only 2 of us got a grade and passed.
