Florida SouthWestern State College (FSW) - Fall 2022

Published

Hey y’all!! I’m taking prerequisites and I’m hoping to apply by May 2022 Lord willing. I noticed that the previous program started a post and figured why not get one started for the next class. I’ll update this post when I apply and if/when I get accepted.

Math was super hard for me ? I suck at math in general though always have. Writting missed 4 only so good and I’m sure my interview was good not worried about that just the math ?

Math was super hard for me! But I got a 15 on that and a 14 on writing. Hoping that’s good enough to get in?

Was the fraction problem presented as words problem?

Hopefully you guys will be fine! It really just depends on how everyone else does as well. We’re such a small group of the 204 that it’s hard to tell!

The math was a little difficult if it’s not your strongest subject and didn’t have a chance to brush up on everything.

I would calculate your total points with your GPA and test scores and see where you lie. I was going to email Sara next week to see if she would let us know what our interview score was cause I’d like to know LOL

I don’t think so. There were only word problems towards the last few questions and they were simple conversions.

I will take the test tomorrow and I am freaking out.

Don’t be! You’re gonna do the best you can just like everyone else!! ☺️
Some questions in the beginning are super easy so you’ll have a little more time on the more difficult ones

I don’t understand the point system. Do you get separate points for each a or b and then the GPA score? Then the writing and math and interview??

So the point system is separated but they build off each other if that makes sense. So you can reach a total of 80 points altogether (20 from GPA, 20 from math, 20 from writing, and 20 from interview). Whatever points you had for your GPA is the starting point and then everything else we do gets added on top of that.

The math was also hard for me . Only because of timing ! I’m trying not to worry since the lowest scores they took were 6 and 7out of 20

You also have a pretty high GPA tho so I’m thinking between that, the interview and the writing you should be fine! Especially since we all put at least 3 choices you’ll prob get one of them! ☺️

That one doesn’t seem like it’s current or correct. This is the one I got from the FSW ASN website — the link that says college student and LPN ASN applicant score sheet!

I think you were looking at the high school graduate applicant sheet! They need a GPA from high school at least at a 3.5! For us, the minimum to apply is 3.0! Obviously, it’s actually higher than that to be considered
