What is it that you want to know?
If you're in Florida, Kingsville, Tx is just about the most geographically different place you could find. The people are great, but make sure that you really understand the realities of living there before you make the move. It's very hard to move so far away from your home and support system - especially if it feels so 'foreign'.
well when it comes to support system, i really dont have one. Im a single male nurse in my late 20s. I did live in houston for a year in 2008 and loved it. Weather and demographics to me is not as important as just getting my nursing career going. I really just want a hospital in texas that can give me a shot as a new grad.
btw Houtx I sent you a pm. Basically just wondering if you know hospitals in texas that are very new grad friendly, regardless of the city.

I did my clinicals at the hospital in Kingsville when I was going through the LVN program there. I know of a classmate who got her ADN & works in the hospital there.
