Updated:   Published

What Members Are Saying (AI-Generated Summary)

Members are discussing the process of being accepted, waitlisted, or rejected from a program, with some sharing their experiences of receiving alternate list offers. There is also a conversation about the size of the cohort and the possibility of more acceptances from the waitlist before the program starts. Additionally, members are providing updates on when they received offers and the deadlines for responding.

Hello! I wanted to create this thread for updates for those applying to FIU's CRNA for Spring 2026!!

Yes, mine has my name on it.

I also got one with my name on it so I think it was a generic email sent out to everyone to give an update.

I emailed last night to ask about my status and received a response this morning. Wanted to post here to be helpful to others:

"The admissions committee is currently in the end phase of reviewing over 500 applications.  You should expect to receive a letter from us within the next 2 weeks. For general information, the interviews will be conducted on May 15th and May 16th.”

Hopefully we will know by the end of March! Good luck everyone.

I received the email as well. I'm pretty sure it's auto-generated

So I've heard the interview might be held in group settings since they only have two days set. I wonder how that's going to play out

So nervous! That email made my heart drop into my stomach! Did everyone get the email?

During the information session they kinda made it sound like there were stations, but they didn't give too much detail. I'm also curious to how it'll be, I'm hoping for the best!

They do their interviews in groups. There's two time slots on two different days. If you get invited to interview they'll likely ask your preferences of the four slots and then assign you to one of them. They're done in person not virtual.

Thank you for this information.  I knew there had been talk of them changing their interview style.  Do you happen to know since it is a group interview,  is it a clinical scenario we all work through together?

Unfortunately I can't say much about the particulars, but if you get invited for an interview, they'll tell you generally what to study/how to prepare, and that should help out. I think the structure on how they do it makes it pretty fair.
