alternate list = waiting list.

Deadline to sign is May 29th. So if you didn't hear anything yet, expect something on the 30th.

They upped it this year to 55 students.

It might have been the last day for people to accept/deny their admissions, and thus for people to get immediately off the wait list, but they take people off the wait list between now and when the program starts. There's going to be people who accept now, that get in elsewhere and then give up their seat. So it's still possible.
