I couldn't find a thread for FGCU Spring 2025 application so I thought I would start one. Is anyone else out there applying?

Thank you I'll keep the hope alive!!
I'll share my stats just because: 2 years local Neuro/medical surgical ICU at level 2 Trauma Center, CCRN, 3.49 cumulative GPA (I've been going to college since junior year of high school), 3.75 total nursing GPA, ASN to BSN GPA 4.0, ICU preceptor, Vietnam nursing externship during nursing school, 200+ community service hours over the past few years, 18 hours CRNA shadowing, GRE 293/3.5
Hi everyone,
I am not applying anytime soon as I still have a few classes to retake. But, I was wondering if anyone had any insight how the grades are calculated? I currently have a FGCU mentor that completed the program but she wasn't able to tell me how the committee decides grading. I was not sure if the classes that have been re-taken replace the old grades or if it is just an average of the two. I have attempted to reach out to FGCU to ask but have not had a straight answer.
FGCU is my first choice, but I know that my grades leave much to be improved on. Studying for the GRE and hoping to really well on that to hopefully balance myself out.
I will say that the past/current FGCU student I have spoken with said it was the best decision they made. The classes are brutal, but that towards the senior year it balances itself out. Also, almost all of the senior classes have been offered jobs.
Just trying to decide if I even stand a chance.
best wishes to all of you!

Website says "153 verbal, 144 quantitative, and a minimum of 3.5 out of 6 on the essay portion" but it does not say that on the NursingCAS portion so maybe they went away with the scores.
