I couldn't find a thread for FGCU Spring 2025 application so I thought I would start one. Is anyone else out there applying?

Thanks!
Respectfully - you are competition right now! Utilize the previous discussion boards and it's always best to prepare for everything because it varies person to person. I think any of us would be crazy to actually answer this before decisions come out 😂 I do wish you the best, but it wouldn't be wise on our part to tell everyone exactly what's coming.
I don't think it is unethical to discuss, youre not telling specific questions, youre just discussing styles, which is the point of the forums. to help each other out, not just brag who interviewed or got accepted LOL. then whats the point. I always see other people helping out. but if people think everyone is a competition, then you probably need to bring your confidence up. yea everyone in life is.

I didn't think it would be a such divisive question LOL. Thanks for the support!
And good luck to everyone.
Hi everyone, I thankfully was accepted into another program and just called to turn down my interview slot for FGCU. I hope that allows someone else the chance to compete for their program! Good luck to everyone in your journey to and through CRNA school!
My personal experience from the 2 interviews I had- styles were both mostly emotional intelligence. Be ready to really explain why you want this! Be confident and really stick to your stengths but don't be scared to explain your weaknesses, if a question like that comes up. We are all in the same boat and I think remaining genuine and authentic is the best way to shine for your respective programs.

I would be careful telling format

The poster didn't state which schools they interviewed at and only posted about basic interview questions that MOST schools ask. My interviews had both clinical and personal type questions- plus it depends on how long the interview is to how many questions they can ask you.
@IllbeYourNurseToday I would suggest preparing for both types of questions- clinical and personal. There's a few good YouTube videos- and do mock interviews it is better to be over prepared than under prepared 😊 you got this!
Thank you guys for the support and advice! Honestly, I was just wondering how this interview would compare to my interview with them years ago. Today, I learned that they use the same interview method from 2022, and hopefully, after working on my resume for years, I won't get waitlisted again 🤞 Other schools I'm interviewing for definitely have a clinical question segment, so I've been practicing that as well. As others have mentioned, preparing for anything is essential, and maybe they'll change it up next year. This isn't exactly confidential information.
Anyway, I kinda regret not asking when they think final decisions will be made, but I know they were trying to stay on schedule. I've seen it as early as ten days in other years discussion boards, I hope we don't have to wait too longggg

I declined since I accepted a seat somewhere else. Some others had mentioned it in this group
