I found this article to have some basic info.
Tell me what you think.

Good article. Men tend to ignore symptoms or accept symptoms that can be treated as a normal part of growing old, or are simply too embarrassed to talk about it.

Good article...thank you.
Interesting side note: I have a female friend that I have known since high school, who has been married for almost 25 years. Her husband is a nurse, was becoming impotent, and quite depressed as a result of it...and tried the best he could to minimize this detail to her. Well, he had a pretty significant MI requiring a bypass within 2 yrs of his symptoms. He just turned 50. The cardiologist also pointed out the connection to my friend and her husband that the member is connected in more ways than one to the heart....it is a good indicator of cardiac health...especially CAD. So, the lesson here is: if things are not up to what it used to be, get your heart checked out.

"The member is the dipstick of the body's health," Fisch says.
Men pay so much attention to that . ... . hopefully it will get them in to see the doc.

Anyone have more to add to this list? This is a list of 'signs of the most critical'... Anything you missed on a guy because of of this machismo?
I know this probably belongs on a differnt post but....
As a male student nurse, when assessing patients with the nurse on shift we often skip over the perineal area ...even when their is a foley! OMG... I've observed several nurses...female nurses are more comfortable checking both sexes but many haven't invited me over to explain whats going on and the guys just skip it all together ("the aid will do that"). Alrighty...
