FIU Nursing 2015

Hey guys! So I'm super nervous about applying to FIU because I don't think my GPA is all that great. :/ I didn't do well my first semester there so that brought my GPA doooown. Currently I have a 3.6 overall and a 3.5 science (which is really bad...I finished all of my science classes last semester). Hopefully by the end of this spring semester my overall will be at a 3.7. I do not have volunteer hours but I have been shadowing at a hospital (which I prefer because I had a bad experience volunteering lol). I'm taking the TEAS at the end of this month and I'm studying super hard for it right now >__<. if you guys have any good study tips on how to do well the teas that would be greatly appreciated too for those already in program or graduated from what think my chances are advice is great thank so much>

I was accepted but I have not yet received the email about orientation . I do curiosity do you mind letting me know the day of orientation

Me too! I've been checking my mailbox every day this week waiting for it. If not today than it has to be tomorrow!

I'm still waiting for my email!! I'm been checking my email everyday for the info about orientation . I'm moving from Orlando . Anyone know good off campus housing for FIU ?

I heard we don't get the official letter of acceptance until orientation.

In the email it said we should be getting them in the mail and that they are in the process of sending them out. I'm so anxious! I also check the mail everyday lol.

I called the office for a third time this morning and the woman said that not all decisions have been released and they should finish emailing everyone by next Wednesday.

I got an email from them today with my official acceptance letter and information about the background check website. We have until June 30th to submit everything including final transcripts

Yeah I got the email as well, but does this mean that we will not be receiving a letter in the mail?

Thanks for the info!! Still hoping for at least a waitlist email. I got a call on Monday from a FIU nursing phone number, but they left no message. I called back and left a message but never got a phone call back. Wondering what that could have been about.
