FIU Nursing 2015

Published

Hey guys! So I'm super nervous about applying to FIU because I don't think my GPA is all that great. :/ I didn't do well my first semester there so that brought my GPA doooown. Currently I have a 3.6 overall and a 3.5 science (which is really bad...I finished all of my science classes last semester). Hopefully by the end of this spring semester my overall will be at a 3.7. I do not have volunteer hours but I have been shadowing at a hospital (which I prefer because I had a bad experience volunteering lol). I'm taking the TEAS at the end of this month and I'm studying super hard for it right now >__<. if you guys have any good study tips on how to do well the teas that would be greatly appreciated too for those already in program or graduated from what think my chances are advice is great thank so much>

I'm in section 2! :D

I'm in section 1 as well.

I left the influenza requirement blank but I should be getting the shot soon

They're making it so confusing with the schedules. The email she sent today doesn't make sense with the reference numbers and times. I just want to know my correct schedule 😑

Yeah I had the same problem with one of them, I just went by the time

The only time problem I had with my schedule was my clinical was an extra hour then the one that was emailed to me.

I'm in section 1 too! 7 am is a little early for me. Thanks for the information about bright futures, I'm going to call tomorrow or Monday morning.

In order to enroll for classes you have to complete transfer orientation- but it says virtual and advising. Anyone know how I lift the advising hold too? I already did virtual.

I have to also submit my meningitis vaccine form to get that hold lifted.

Always something to do!

What hospitals did you guys get?

I know exactly what you mean, I feel like my to do list is never ending, and I'm not a morning person either.

I'm doing my clinicals at Memorial West all the way in Pembroke Pines :/

I'm doing mine at the Miami VA Spinal Cord. I still have a lot to get done to be fully ready to start
