FIU Generic BSN 2014

Hi everyone!

I'm not sure if there is another thread for FIU's 2014 generic BSN program, but I figured I'd make one. I just wanted to see if there was anyone else who applied? I finished applying about a week ago and I was hoping maybe someone in the program could give us some advice or insight on how they like the program.

That's financial aid and loans...in the one card that we all need to get, thats our ID too. They give us a book advance before class starts so we can purchase in the bookstore.

Damn, I wish you would have hook us up with your connect brittl...how is that even possible? Even if you buy them all used, it would still cost more than $275!

@Stan- If I bought them all new online from the FIU bookstore it comes out to $555 for me. But that's without the patho book because it says there's not one available yet for Fall2014

That crazy because I bought all 7 books including the path books. Why would they be available for me when I ordered and not available for you? Because I honestly don't think people are buying them that fast. Not to mention I bought mine 4 to 5 days ago...

Hello everyone! Congrats to all those that were accepted! Best of luck! I'm waiting to hear whether I was accepted to Nova and the waiting is killing me. I'm considering maybe applying to FIU if Nova is not an option, but I'm concerned about the process. Especially the video. Does anyone know if any of the videos are posted on YouTube? Would love to see them if they are. Any pointers on applying to FIU would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Are you trying to start this fall? The deadline to start for Fall 2014 was March 15th. If you want to go to FIU you'd have to apply for next years cycle. I don't think there's any videos on YouTube because we had to upload them under underlisted. Also, you'd have to take the TEAS. If you read back from the beginning of this topic you'll see everyones scores and GPA. Best of luck to you : )
