FIU Fall 2016 Generic BSN

Published

Hey guys! Is anyone here applying for the Generic BSN program for Fall 2016? I couldn't find any topics for it.

I'm in the process of applying right now and I just took the TEAS V today! I'm content with my score, but I may retake it. I hope that with my TEAS V score, my GPA, and my extracurricular activities combined that have a good chance of getting accepted into the program!

My stats are:

Science GPA: 4.0

GPA: 3.96

TEAS V Cumulative score: 79.3% :(

Reading portion: 83.3% unfortunately I ran out time on this one and had to blindly guess on two questions!

Math portion: 66.7% such a bad score for me! I had to guess on like 5 questions because I wasn't keeping track of time!

Science: 81.3% I'm so relieved with this score. I was so scared that I wouldn't pass the 62% mark. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be!

English and Grammar: 83.3 % It was an okay section, a couple of tricky questions. I had like 3 questions on how a word is spelled correctly and those get confusing when two of them look like the right answer!

I would love to hear from anyone else who is also applying for the Fall 2016!

Hey guys! Did you get the clinical checklist? thats a lot of things we need to get done í ½í¸³

Yes that list is pretty lengthy. I wish they gave us the orientation date earlier. I probably won't be able to go because I'm currently in New York and I really can't afford to buy a roundtrip ticket and pay for hotel to go to Miami for just two days. Can whoever go to orientation just write about the information given during orientation and possibly upload pictures of the documents on this post? I would really appreciate it!!!

So I went to fiuexpress.com and made an account for the complio American data bank. The total cost for all the documents on the list is roughly $160 I don't know if that includes the physical exam I highly doubt it though. And you can't receive any of those documents until you pay. Just a heads up guys!!

Where do you see that option? To order everything? Because when I signed up I payed $60 registration fee. But idk where to order all the background check. Just shows an option where to upload it.

im not sure if we are allowed to take pictures during orientation. But I will definitely keep you posted. I think you should contact them though because it says it is mandatory to attend.

I think it's mandatory to go to orientation.. That's where we pick our classes ;(

According to the email with the checklist, they will place us in clinicals... In other words, lol, we don't pick our classes :/ but yes, orientation is still mandatory. I really do wish we had an option to picking our classes though.

I'm still trying to see if I can attend but I did notify them that I might not be able to make it because of the fact that I'm in a whole other state.

Where do you see the option to pay $160 for everything? My registration fee was only $60.

You paid a fee to sign up? I didn't pay in. I made an account then they verified my email. I was then prompted to a page where they had a layout of all the requirements like in the email then they had the price a for them and you clicked on the ones that were for bsn nursing @leilalenci

I'm so confused. Lol I'm on the website that's American databank immunization tracking system where we upload all our documents.
