ROFL !

(and its the liquid form in capsules, Kirkland brand, that I purchased at Costco that I've been taking. I take one of those PLUS one flaxseed oil capsule, plus multivitamin + extra Calcium + Ester C + glucosamine- have had much higher resistance to colds and sickness ever since adding this whole vitamin regime daily- all of which my daughter insisted I start taking- in addition to clearer thinking & memory improvement. I HATE taking all these vitamins & supplements, but am now really used to it and have no problems if I take ALL of these immediately after eating a meal, most vitamins are much better absorbed that way anyway.)

Keep them in the fridge. I've never had them go rancid that way, plus you use up the bottle in about a month or less (at least I do). I wouldn't buy large bottles for just that reason.

Good question, had me stumped! I ran to read the fine print on the bottle for storage when I read your post, because I just assumed that like most supplements, they would be OK at room temp! So I was glad to see that my bottle said it was OK to store them like this, and I detected absolutely no smell at all in the bottle (plus I noticed that they included a really big pouch of dessicant in there, to keep the capsules from getting moist). This Kirkland brand (Costco) says the capsules are enteric coated for both stability and ingestion benefit and can be stored at room temperature tightly closed (according to the bottle) until expiration. Plus it has alot of other good info on the side of the bottle, like how its processed to remove mercury, its multi-fish source, etc. Amazing what you learn when you finally actually READ the bottle...gulp.

I can't find what I did with the article but they gave people 1200-2400mg of FO over almost three months. It was a trial of FO versus NSAIDs. The people felt better on the FO for pain.

I did find the article by putting in fish oil+NSAIDS. They suggested a pharmaceutical grade fish oil which I also did a search on. Spectrum does have this grade of FO.
