Hey all!

I wanted to start a thread to possibly keep in touch with those who are interested in or interviewed for this new grad program!!

For those of you who interviewed towards the end of June 2018, have you heard back yet?

Nice congrats! I got the same base pay. The recruiter said 3.25 differential for nights. It isn't in my contract though.. is it in yours?

Yeah they gave me all the info. I completed my background check info and drug screen. Waiting to hear back about the physical. Can't wait to start!

Anything new in your process yet? Anything from the recruiter?

I think I may already have everything for employee health too, so not sure I have anything new to do before I transfer hah

Hello! Could you share the recruiter information for Kaiser? My email is [email protected]

Thank you!

The recruiter told me a couple days ago to expect to be contacted from someone in employee health.. other than that I haven't heard anything back. It's kind of making me nervous how slow the onboarding seems to go. I hope it will be done in time for the start date. That's good you're ready to go though! Just a little over 2 weeks to start!

Hi!!! Congrats to you guys for getting the position! Must be so exciting! I am applying to the new grad prog and was just wondering if you would share your interview experience. I want to be well prepared in case I get lucky enough to interview. What kind of questions were you asked? Any information would really help! TIA

Congrats!!! I am applying and would really appreciate any tips and info you chould share for the interview. Was it group interview? What kind of questions were asked? Are you enjoying the position? TIA

Thank you Mnclegg! Yes, we had a group interview with 20+ other new grads and a panel. Most of the questions were very generic/common interview questions..tell us about a time you gave great customer service, a time you received constructive criticism and what you did about it.. what you would do to help keep other staff members on your team motivated.. I prepared mostly by keeping my past work/clinical experiences in mind and practicing my answers a few times. I think practice helps settle the nerves a bit, especially since you'll be sharing your answers in front of the entire room of people. It was a great experience overall and I hope you get interviewed! Good luck!

Thank you for the reply!! Did you get any like clincal scenario type questions? Also what is the starting rate for kaiser as a new grad? Are you enjoying the position?

Are you at sunset or pc?

Just one clinical scenario question about ABC. They are starting me at 52.50 as a new grad, with 3.25 for night differential. I just finished my BSN a few weeks ago and they have told me once I can provide my diploma as proof, the pay rate will be increased. I don't know what the increase will be though. So the exact pay depends on if you have an ADN, BSN, or MSN. I'll be at PC. The position actually doesn't start until Sept 17 :)

ABC? Thats awesome!
