hey everyone! i just wanted to let everyone know that i have finished nursing school! :biggringi: :balloons: today was my last clinical day, but it was cancelled d/t snow. i have already taken and passed my final exam! i am so excited. it doesn't seem real yet. i can't imagine that i don't have classes next semester, or that i won't be getting up at 0530 3 days/week for clinicals anymore. it is such a great feeling. just wanted to say congrats to all the other students who are graduating this month, and good luck to all the students. this day will be here for all of you soon. thanks for letting me share my joy! :nurse:

:balloons:

CONGORATS!!! I wish I was there with you, I still have one semester left :o

I'm done also... My pinning was tonight and it was great... But I am sooooooooooooooooooooo glad it is over... I am ready to start working.

Congratulations to all you new grads. I graduated this past May, and yesterday I found out that I passed the NCLEX the first time around. I recently married, moved to a new state, and became an RN! I can hardly wait to start working as an RN, it has been months since I did clinical. I am hoping to get into Maternal Health nursing and then eventually go back to become an Advance Practice Nurse. Tips for the NCLEX: don't wait, remember your priority, delegate correctly and you will pass! It is not about knowing every little detail, it is about being SAFE! Don't kill yourself studying, just know who you should see first, who you should let the LPN and CNA see. That is what they want to be sure you can do. Everyone please let me know what your first job was and what salary to expect. I also used to be a CNA and I did Therapeutic Support Specialist for problem kids. Thanks!

Congrats to all. I graduated Friday evening. Yea!

I don't know yet when I can take the NCLEX.

I just glad school is finished. No more care plans, drug sheets, etc.......:chuckle

I too just finished my LAST FINAL today...I am sooo happy!!! I thought this day would never come! I too have not heard anything from the Texas BNE yet, which makes me nervous considering I have already accepted a job. I hope we hear something soon. Keep us posted, and congratulations~!! :balloons: :D

Don't get too stressed about not hearing from the TX BNE yet! I had my recruiter at my newly accepted job call them, and they said it will be about another 3-4 weeks until they issue my permit. That was better news than I had heard previously! So, they do seem to be working on things, even if it is SLOW!!! Congrats to you, too. What area are you working in? BTW, I got a job in L&D!!!! THat is what I wanted.

Congrats to all the new grads! ANy advice on studying delegation?

Nekhismom, thanks for the reassuring, I guess all I can do is wait to hear from the BNE at this point. I accepted a job in the ER, which is what I wanted also. Good luck to you!:)
