Can onyone recommend a good liability insurance co?

There are some companies out there that offer the $1/$3 million coverage but don't overlook your homeowner's insurance plan. I have purchased individual policies but I now use a program through my homeowner's that covers me professionally and increased my liability for my homeowner's policy from $400,000 to $1 million for the exact same money.

Check out http://www.nso.com - I've had them for insurance as a student, and they seem to have a pretty good reputation.

Yes, I had NSO until I found that I could get the same thing with my homeowners for the same money, and also enjoy better coverage for my home.

Sad we must all think of this isn't it? The world we live in.....

I also have NSO, as a student as well as an RN. They knocked off half of my premium for my 1st year out of school. They also offer term life insurance and its very inexpersive. 2.50 to 10 dollars a month for up to 100K in coverage. Spouses are eligible too. ~Ivanna

I may go against the grain here - but heres my take. I have been told that having insurance is a liability to have - by Drs & Lawyers. When people suit - they go after the people who have insurance.

Just an opinion - unless you work private practice - you are under the umbrella of the hospital.

Take it with a grain of salt - but I have 25 yrs experience in hospitals.
