Published

Who else is taking NCLEX (RN or PN) first week of October? Lets get together and cheer/support each other. :balloons:

I'm taking NCLEX-RN October 6th....UUGGHHH, I'm so nervous.

I have been using Saunders, Kaplan & HESI practice Q's.

Hello all, I take mine this Wed. Oct 3 in California. It's my 2nd time and I more nervous. I didn't over study this time around and yet I feel that my brain is fried and I feel the need to know everything. I know that's impossible. So, I'm keeping in my mind that I know the stuff I need to know and I will do my best in defeating this test. Good to all of you!

Im taking mine for the first time on the 3rd in Illinois.

I took mine today, the PN, and Im about 99% sure I failed it. I didnt know anything on that test, it cut me off at 85, which is the minimum, and it was so horrible, about 65 was pharmacology questions that Ive never even heard of, about 15 check all that apply which really sucked, and about 5 questions on diabetes, so sucked bad, i just feel like bawling.:o

Good Luck to all. Remeber be positve and have faith. God will see us through.

I took the NCLEX Monday Oct 1, 265 questions 4 hours.... and I passed!!!! I can't believe it! I keep reading about people who walk out of that exam thinking they failed, only to learn they passed! I was that person! I was POSITIVE I had failed, I cried (and I quote my boyfriend on this) like my parents had just died! It's hard, when you've spent SO MUCH time and stress, to know that you received an entire education JUST to prepare you for this test, and then you walk out of it feeling like a moron! Nothing can prepare you for it... and nothing can console you while you wait for results... except knowing that all of us have been there and FEEL your pain!

My nursing school buddy put it best....

"RN education $30,000

Uniforms, books, coffee through out the years of nursing school $5000

Registration to take the NCLEX, $200....

being able to put RN behind your name... PRICELESS"

I have never felt more accomplished in my entire life... Good luck to all of you, and thanks to all whose posts I read that gave me faith!

(PS. I'm gonna go change my screen name to something with an RN now!):monkeydance:
