Our first test questions were NCLEX style, they all are :/ My advice would be to study all the little boxes in the chapters that contain all those interesting little facts. Do the questions at the end of the chapter, our instructors love to pull questions from those. Also be sure to know your nursing interventions. My class was amazed at how poorly we did our first test, I think every class is. Good luck and happy studying!
Our first Nursing Fundamentals test was today, all NCLEX style, and it covered multiple chapters as well. I did my studying each evening and passed the entire thing with a 100%. I'd just relax and do your best, NF really isn't that bad of a class. I find A&P is much worse, in terms of the amount of homework, comprehension and memorization.
Well it was your first test so you know now how to go about answering the questions. I will be doing my 3rd test this wednesday and it will be over chptrs 16-24. I have noticed that if i do use my saunders NCLEX-LPN book that some of my test questions are fro it. Do you have an NCLEX book? if not you can go to the APP store ( if you have an iphone) and download the FREE lippencotts NSG FDN book. I hope this helps.

[color=#2f4f4f]tomorrow is our first exam in nf and i am beyond freaking out. i've studied a great amount, but it's the fact of it being the first one and not knowing quite what to expect. it's over chapters 1-5 & 7 and i have the book nursing fundamentals by ramont. i think i am so stressed because we literally only had 3 days of lecture!
basically, i am asking if your first nf exam was a breeze or was it a struggle? was it mostly n-clex style questions or was it more of a basic format? i have horrible text anxiety, especially in the beginning of new semesters...any help guys?!
