my first day as a mother/baby nurse :)

Hi Everyone!!! I am so excited!! I graduated at the end of may and have been in orientation since June 5. Today I FINALLY got to work on the floor. I spent the day in the newborn nursery. I;ll be starting my floorr orientation there for next week and it was so much fun! I managed to bathe two babies, watched/helped w/ 2 circs, did q4h vitals, and learned a LOT. All in one shift lol. I am so excited and I just wanted to share!!!!

Yes, they are! Good luck to you. Newborn nursery is wonderful. I have fond memories of working there.

Yes I am glad that I will have a chance to rotate into the nursery when I am off my orientation.
