my first C+ :(

Published

I just finished up my first semester of my senior year, and we got our grades back today. I found out I got a C+ in my complex care class, and I am really in the depths of despair over it. I've never gotten a C in any of my nursing classes before. What to do? :crying2:

Take a day or two to be bummed out. Then start taking a good hard look at what you need to improve on. I'd also try to arrange a meeting with your Professor and ask them what they think you could improve on. Then make a plan on how to address those things.

Not doing as well as you wanted to is merely an opportunity to really isolate your weaknesses. If you take the opportunity, you'll only end up richer for it!!

I wish you the best as you go forward!!

Agree with others that recommend figuring out what went wrong and what you're going to do to correct it, then move on.

There are worse things but I know for right now, this is a bad thing for you.

Take care.

to the OP,

I apologize if my answer was hard FOR YOU to hear. as stated, this is a public forum....... opinion asked, opinion given. when you get to the "real world" of nursing, you will realize that "C" equals nurse.... :) good for you! gotta go warm up my broomstick..... ;)
