Just took NCLEX yesterday. During the test the fire alarm started going off in the building! Proctors told us to stand up and get out and they paused all of our tests. A few minutes of standing in the lobby, and we learned it was not an actual fire but an ill-timed testing of the alarms!!! Protors told us to just go back in to the testing room to resume our tests. The proctors came over and started each of our tests one by one. The rest of my test was uneventful, finished at 75 questions and as with most people I feel ok about it but still unsure if I passed.
When when I came home I did the pearsonvue trick and it is saying I have results on hold. Now I am worried there is a problem because of the stupid fire alarm. When the proctors sent us out and had us return they didn't palm scan any of us. I did Palm scan on the way in at the beginning and Palm scanned out at the very end. Now I'm freaked out that my results will be voided because of the way the proctors handled the evacuation. I realize no one in here can really tell me any answers, but I guess I'm hoping someone will just tell me I should calm down. I did nothing else out if the ordinary, brought no cell (or any bags) into the building, just my coat, license and car keys. I wore a t-shirt just to be safe that I wouldn't be accused of having anything bulky on. When we evacuated, we were sent out a back door and down the stairs to the lobby. Didn't get any coats or anything and I made a point to not talk to any other test takers as we stood there. I still am in disbelief that this even happened. Argh!!!!

Wow, haven't heard of a mess like this at a PV testing center yet! Sorry you're the first
Well, at this point, I guess all you can do is wait it out: holds typically take anywhere from 24-72 hours to lift; results are released once the hold is lifted. If there really is nothing else "amiss" with the exams themselves, I'd imagine you'd be fine.
Hang in there.....I'm keeping the faith :)
Thanks for the reassurance that the hold doesnt necessarily mean something bad. All I can do is just wait for my result. trying to just keep myself busy in the meantime :)

I think you will be ok. It's not for fault, you did not nothing wrong. They should release your result soon. God bless you.

Did you pass???
Yes! I did pass! My result took a little extra time, but the most important thing is that I passed! Hooray!
