Hi there, don't feel bad because I finished in 1996 and will be taking the exam for the first time next week. In my state I didnt have to take a refresher course, I only had to submit transcript to BON. I wish you good luck with your exam. You may want to check online for your state BON.
Six months isn't bad at all. Frustrated and overwhelmed doesn't even begin to describe how I feel about taking the exam. But I am going in and I will give it my best shot. I have to believe that if I made it through school (and my grades were good) that I can and will do this. I pray that I can pass it on the first go round regardless of what the negative post to this sight may indicate. I got caught up trying to live and make it and the next thing I knew the years were flying by like lightening bolts. I had given up previously and I decided if others can do it I can too. And besides, I didn't go through 2 years of school for nothing. With God all things are possible, I believe ! :pumpiron:

Hello, to all of you...I am somewhat embarrassed to admit I finished LVN school in December 2005 and still have not taken NCLEX due to a final balance owed to the school my papers were not released. I finally took care of the debt and am now faced with the dilema of whether I can apply for licensure or if I must take a refresher course does anybody have any advice? I have tried to contact the California state board but the line is constantly busy. Thanks :uhoh21:
