Finished BSN... can i take licensure for LVN?

hi all!

i've been waiting for my nclex result.. and if after all this time i aint got no luck, is it possible for me to take the licensure for LVN instead? do i need to attend schooling for me to be able to take the LVN exam? can somebody give a quick lecture on this? really appreciate ur response

Can't remember if you already have a GC or citizenship but if you have you still need to apply to the state BON/BRN and send all your documentation again and they will decide whether to allow you to sit PN or not. If you are not immigrant or citizen then the process is same but PN will not assist with GC you have to be RN for that.

thanks for ur reply... 'all documentation" u mean all the requirements needed from the school where i graduated? btw, i already have a GC.

You have to apply from the beginning again for the PN and that means everything has to be sent again (as far as I am aware) May be worth just concentrating on RN and passing the exam
