Hello everyone,
I was just accepted into a nursing program cohort I wanted but now having second thoughts about entering this round and instead finish my last semester of teaching, get my certificate and then start the program January instead of August.. I have a newborn so I figured that’s more money every month right now I only make a little over $1,000 a month working a minimum wage job while in school, I could make $3,500 a month as a teacher. But my job now is just 6 hours, 5 days a week the other two days is perfect to work with my nursing school schedule with teaching it’s at least 40 hours plus prep and I could do the evening nursing program. Teaching is a lot of time away from my baby everyday though. What would you do?

I was a high school English teacher before starting the nursing program. I start my last year in a couple of weeks. There is no way in hell as a new teacher you will be able to do a nursing program.
There is so much prep for class and you will be mentally and emotionally exhausted at the end of every day. My first year teaching I would come home and just stare at a spot on the wall. I graded papers standing in line at the grocery store
