Finding A&P classes relatively easy?

Published

Is this normal? I am finding these classes fairly easy and am thoroughly enjoying each topic that I learn about.

I am finding this surprising because most people say these classes are very difficult and I didn't think I would be good at science.

Do you think maybe my professor is dumbing the topics down for us and thats why it is easy?

It's definitely possible. How are your exam grades?

I think it depends what type of memory you have. I felt the same as you, because spelling has always come easily to me and I have have a good memory for that type of thing. Those in my class who struggled with spelling and memory found it very hard.

Hard to say if your professor is dumbing it down without knowing what they are teaching, but you would think there is a curriculum they have to follow..

Very good, all A's... And I'm not struggling to get those.

It depends for every individual. It could also be that you have a phenomenal professor who explains the material well. You're own interest in the subject can be vital in how your perceive the work, as well.

I didn't find them difficult. I honestly don't feel that there was anything I learned in 2 semesters of Anatomy and Physiology in College that I hadn't already learned in my high school A&P class. Actually, my lab in high school was far superior too. We typed our own blood, we dissected cats. In college we did mostly nothing, left me wondering what I was paying this ridiculous lab fee for.

I LOVED Anatomy.

I took an A&P class in high school, and it inspired a love of it for future years. I really think that is one of the reasons I wanted to go into medicine. :)

You have a good prof if this is the case. Most of us found A&P to be deathly boring. Easy, but boring.
