Hi Lisa!

I'm also from Indiana (Ft. Wayne) Others have given some good ideas, the SSACI Nursing Scholarship Fund was I think mentioned already, you must be accepted into a nursing program & agree to work in any Indiana healthcare facility for 2 yrs after graduaion. First fill out a FAFSA to see what grants and loans you qualify for first, I think most scholarship application deadlines begin in the spring.

What school are thinking of attending?

Best of luck!

Hi,

I am also a Hoosier!! :) I am currently a nursing student in the BSN program at IUSB in Southbend...I found the financial aid office and also my nursing advisor to be a great help in financing my schooling. I am a mother of two and I have had to get loans, but I'm also receiving some scholarships to help. I wish you luck in beginning your nursing journey...If you need any help or just want to chat let me know..BSN2004 Wendy
