Financial Aid and Presidental Scholarship

Last week EC sent me a check in the mail for over a thousand dollars. Just wondering did anyone else receive this? Should I go ahead and cash this check? I know I should call EC but I'm so busy, I don't have time to stay on hold.

I received a scholarship in the pass it paid for three exams. I just thought we nursing students didn't get TAP which is what I got a check for in addition to the scholarship.:typing:typing:typing:typing

How do you find out about scholarships? I already have two student loans and they are building up, fast!?!?!?!?!

Fill out a FAFSA form, have it submitted to EC and they say to wait for the Scholarship awarding times which I thing are something like April, August and December 15th (not exactly sure on that one) and they will contact you if you qualify. You could also call up to the Financial Aid office, like I did, and they may be able to help you out further. Good luck!
