Finally passed NCLEX-RN on 6th Attempt!

Published

Hello,

I told myself that when I passed this examination, I would write about my experience to help other students going through the same situation. These blogs really helped my self confidence through my journey. FINALLY, on my 6th attempt, I have passed the NCLEX-RN examination. IT IS POSSIBLE!!!!!!!! Praise the Lord!!! After a year and 7 months of studying, anything is possible if you declare it, in Jesus Name. PLEASE NEVER LOSE HOPE AND FAITH. :)

I have used every study source you can think of. Starting off with Hurst, Kaplan, Saunders, and La Charity Book. Throughout my journey, I always used the Hurst Videos. I couldn't get enough of them. On my 6th attempt, I decided to try something different. When I graduated, our school made us purchase Virtual-ATI. I was so fed up with ATI when I graduated that I wanted nothing to do with it. After my 5th attempt, my nursing friend told me to go back to ATI, to my "fundamentals". I contacted ATI to see if I could re-activate my Virtual-ATI since I had never used it. I had purchased it before the new policy and it was free of charge to re-activate. I was so happy and excited. I studied for 3 months using Virtual-ATI. I studied about 6-7 hours a day, not including breaks. WOW!!! I had fallen in love with ATI on another level. Never did I imagine I would enjoy it so much. Alongside ATI, I did use the Hurst Videos and a Lippincott Alternative Question Book I found on Amazon. I highly recommend that book!!! When I went back to take my examination, I was very nervous! I tried to remain as positive as possible and just take one question at a time. ATI really helped me get back into the root of Nursing School and it worked!!! I passed!!!!! If I can do it, so can you!!!! Please don't give up on your dreams. Hard work truly pays off. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND VIRTUAL-ATI. I LOVED IT. :nurse:

If you are having trouble believing in yourself, listen to this audio book. "Law of Attraction" by Michael J. Losier. I used this method throughout my exam and it really helped. BUT most importantly, pray to God. I prayed everyday and went to church as much as could. I even did a retreat a month before. Whatever helps your self-esteem, do it. I hope my little blog can help anyone who is going through the same situation. I will pray for those who need to pass their NCLEX-RN. NOW GO GET THAT RN License!!!! :) God bless you all! :inlove:

Congrats to you Rn that's the best feeling in the world

Good Luck!!! You will do great. :)

Congrats very inspiring story

Congrats! Sharing your message with a few in my cohort who are struggling to pass, on their 3rd attempt. Praying for them daily

Congratulations RN. Please pray for me as well. It's been a real struggle. You are an inspiration to not give up

Thank you! :)

Never give up! It's only over when you say it is. You graduated Nursing School, you are in the process of becoming a registered nurse and you will be successful. :bookworm: I will definitely pray for you all.

Congrats. I'm very happy for you.

Congrats to you! I feel your pain! It was definitely a struggle for me as well, but in the end we are victorious!
