Nursing Students NCLEX

hello everyone!! i finally passed my nclex-rn board exam after my fifth attempt!! it was the best feeling in the world to see my name show up as a licensed RN!!! my friend had looked it up before me & texted me the best news of my life. i immediately looked it up on my laptop & there it was my name as an ACTIVE REGISTERED NURSE!!!! i ran out of my room screaming! it was the best feeling in the world! words cannot describe how great it felt. i have been tryin for about a year & a half & it felt so good that all my hard work was finally manifested into something great! it was not easy. rather a very hard, difficult & challenging journey but all worth it. i am here to tell you guys to not give up, stay determined & persevere because i promise you that this great feeling no one can ever take away from you.

i took kaplan twice. this other review (reviewfornurses.com with over 28hrs of lectures & a question bank). i used saunders. & all of these didNOT work for me. but i am in no way taking away from these review sources. different strokes for different folks. i have heard great things about all of these other reviews & thats why i tried them but unfortunately after a lot of time & money spent they did not help me reach my goal of passing. until i came across Excell Nursing Review. (excellnursingreview.com) after my 4th failure @ this test i was almost ready to throw in the towel. failing 4x = a lot of $$, time & heart ache. BUT i realized that i worked my butt off in nursing school to get my degree i owe it to myself to pass this test. & i did not wanna be a quitter. so by word of mouth & some research i heard of Excell Nursing Review. i believe God knew what he was doing! i made a deadline of when i wanted to take my fifth test & had to stick to it. this review is only held in certain cities & at certain times of the year, so you need to look up which is most convenient for you. i ended going out of town to attend the san francisco review (i live in southern ca). but let me tell you attending this review was probably the most rigorous, comprehensive & intense 10 days of my life but very very effective. i recommend this review to anyone who has the money & time to take it. it felt right & the instructors are very knowledgable and helpful to the students. they are definitely there to help everyone pass. their teaching methods were very straight to the point & concise but very understandable. the instructors are very skilled & experienced nurses which benefited all of us to learn from their own experiences.

after i came home from the review, i took 2-3 days off then hit the books really hard for 2 weeks. no going out with friends, just focused focused focused. i read everything over & over again & really focused on med-surg. & i didnt touch any other review resource. i only sticked to the material they gave. on the day of my test i was so nervous yet way more confident than any of the other times. i took my time, read each question carefully & wrote out everything i could on my dry erase board about any diagnosis or condition i had on the test. as i was slowly approaching 70, 71, 72, 73, 74 & then #75 my computer shut off as soon as i answered #75!!! i was so anxious yet knew i answered each question to the best of my ability. no med calculations (which i focused a lot on!) & i received a lot of SATA(select all that apply) those were tricky. i took my test on thursday & found out i passed on a tuesday morning. i then received my license in the mail on thursday! it felt so good to achieve my goal & pass. i just want to let everyone know that it can be done. dont give up. determination. perseverance & of course prayer!! im so thankful & blessed to be a registered nurse.

GOD IS GOOD! Congrats!
