you need to endorce plus for NY I think you still need CVS

there is no such thing as reciprocity, and you will not find an application for the same. you are applying for "license by endorsement"........the only thing that has reciprocity is the nclex exam results.

it will be months before you will get your ny license, as you still need to go thru the cvs process with cgfns. no way around that. until you go thru that process, ny will not be able to issue a license to you.

i apologize for my choice of words. :lol2: i tend to use reciprocity instead of endorsement. :uhoh21: dont get me wrong, i did my own research too.. i already applied for credentials verification for the new york state from cgfns last june and when i followed up on my application a few weeks ago, they said its up for review already.. so with all that.. any idea on how long it'll take? thankshu

It usually takes them about two months to get thru your application, once they have received the CVS report from CGFNS. You still need to get the review done by CGFNS.......that is not always immediate.

Figure on several months before you will see the license in hand.

Had just wanted to clear up the issue of reciprocity since it does not exist in the US. The only thing with reciprocity is the NCLEX-RN exam, nothing more with any state.
