FGCU Fall '07 Wait List

Hello Everyone!

My name is Anna and I've been reading everyone elses comments and posts for a long time. I've loved hearing everyone's stories and advice and it's really gotten me through some tough times. Now I actually have something to post myself!

I just got a letter today from Florida Gulf Coast University saying that I'm on the wait list for the Fall 2007 BSN program. This is one of only two schools I applied to so I'm kind of . . . freaking out (to say the least). The letter I have to mail back accepting the wait list is not due until March 30, 2007 so I'm assuming I cannot see how many people are on the list or my rank until then.

Does anyone have any personal experience with FGCU or know anyone who has? I really don't know that much about the program as far as available slots, approx. number of applicants, etc. If anyone has any information it would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks guys and good luck to all of you!!!

Hey, I'm in the same boat. I'm #15 on the alternate list at my school. So I know how disappointing that letter is. I swore I wouldn't cry, but I did.

What is worse, I only had one option where I am from...there are two other CC in my area, but the way they have the nursing program set up, you can't apply to the other two if you are applying to one.

Hopefully it will work out better at the other school you are applying to.
