FGCU Fall 2012

Apps were due Feb 1. I know we aren't supposed to find out until late March/early April, but who else has applied and waiting on acceptance for Florida Gulf Coast University nursing Fall 2012??? I am so anxious about getting in! I also applied to Edison, although I am not sure when we hear back about those apps.

I think I got in. I got an e-mail saying this, "Congratulations! This email is to inform you that your application to the Florida Gulf Coast University School of Nursing, BSN Program has been successful for Full Admission. Further information will be sent to you in the US Postal Service."

Is there some preliminary process, or am I in in? Because, I didn't think my scores were high enough to get in. Im surprised yet very very excited.

I do already go to FGCU.

Has anyone got their letters yet?

Can anyone tell me how long it took FGCU to accept you as an undergrad first? I want to apply to the nursing program for Spring, but I'm afraid I might not be accepted to the university in time. Thanks, and congrats to all of those who were accepted!

Well, Spring apps are due May 15th. When I applied, the decision was fast, but I don't think THAT fast. Because it's only a little over a month away. I would say definitely call the school of nursing for their input.

May I as what your scores were which made you think they weren't good enough? I just want an idea of what TEAS and GPA scores are being admitted :)

Hey! I also am graduating this semester from FSU with a degree in Family Child Sciences and just found out that I got into the FGCU nursing program for Fall! I just got really excited to hear that some of yall are in the same situation as me! :) Im really excited to meet everyone! If yall have made a facebook page, let me know I'd love to join!

Hey Im graduating too from FAU in like 3 weeks with a BSE degree, so fgcu will be my second degree :) and I decided to go with fgcu rather than nova..Do you know when your doing orientation yet?

Hey! Awesome, I just signed up for June 13. I just talked to someone from Ft. Myers and they were saying how nice FGCU is now. I'm so excited!

Yea me too Im ready to move an start already! lol I havent signed up for orientation yet, but I may do the same day as you so I can start registering. Do you know where your living yet or any good areas?
