FGCU Fall 2012

Apps were due Feb 1. I know we aren't supposed to find out until late March/early April, but who else has applied and waiting on acceptance for Florida Gulf Coast University nursing Fall 2012??? I am so anxious about getting in! I also applied to Edison, although I am not sure when we hear back about those apps.

GPA was 3.4 overall, 4.0 in science. 94 TEAS. Never attended FGCU before. Been taking my prereqs at Edison

I got in too! I don't go to FGCU. I am graduating from FSU this spring. I also got into JU which is an accelerated program so I am not sure where I am going to go yet! Congratulations to everyone!

Talked to someone and they said it doesn't matter if you are a transfer or FGCU student.

That's good to know; most schools will flat out say that there is preference given to their students over others. If I can just get my TEAS way up maybe I can have a chance!

Thanks!!... My GPA I applied with was a 3.2 (kinda low) but I made up for it with getting a 84 on TEAS overall. But Im still waiting on Nova though, so I don't know what im doing yet. But FGCU is alot cheaper so well see :)

How old is everyone who was accepted?! Just curious :-) I'm graduating this month from FSU so this will be my second BA. I decided I'm going with FGCU NURSING and not JU ABSN. I'm so excited, one of my friends in the program loves it! I can't wait to meet everyone!

Just found out I got accepted as well. I too will be graduating from FSU in the spring with a psychology degree so this will be my 2nd bachelors degree. Really excited! We should make a Facebook group or something!
