FGCU CRNA 2019

Published

Hi! I know I am early but anyone looking to apply for FGCU starting Jan 2019? Apps are due May 15, 2018! Anyone know the stats of people who have gotten in and interview tips? Thanks in advance! :)

Did anybody contacted school? Are they done with admission?

I'm still being told to be patient, I think they are working on DNP accreditation which is due this August. I don't know what to think??? moving on I guess as other deadlines approach - stay optimistic and keep applying!

Sorry, I know this is a FGCU thread, but I will be going to Wolford (now Keiser) starting Aug 27 and looking for a roommate for 12 months in the Fort Myers area. I'm a 32 year old male. I can't find any of my fellow classmates. Send me a PM if you're interested or know anyone that may be. Thanks!

I am starting there as well. I sent a text to a friend of mine that may need a roommate. I'll pm you when he gets back to me.

Anyone hear anything?

I can't believe that they still not done with admission.., but I guess if they would be done we would get rejection letters.. So, probably some of us still have a chance. Has anybody written them? I wrote about 2 weeks ago, but no answer..

I called Ms. Gretchen and she told me to email the PD, which I did. No response. I called and left Gretchen a voicemail today.

I emailed Dr. Speigel like 2 weeks ago and still no word. It's crazy they won't tell some are waitlisted and others didn't get in. I hate waiting in limbo.

Just to clarify, first phone call was a month ago.

I realistically think they only have 18 spots they have filled/offered and are waiting to get their approval for the DNP program (this month) which they are asking for the ability to take 24 students. When this goes through they will do what they need to do to fill the other 6 spots accordingly. This is what I have pieced together with the little information I have received. If they get the approval for next year to accommodate 24 for the DNP they will be able to take 24 this year which I assume they will because they are a quality school. That being said I think they are avoiding answering any of our inquiries due to the fact that they honestly don't know what they are going to do. It has been 2 months without any contact of any sort which I feel a simple yes/no would suffice as it is a lot of work applying and interviewing to all these programs to still feel there is a chance is just pure torture.

Yep. Poorly handled any way you look at it.
