Female Nursing Students Dont like me !

I am male nursing student . I am very lonely in my class . Nobody in my nursing class support me . It seems like they hate me or somethings .

I feel like ..I am in wrong place .

I am start wondering that ...will it be like this when I start working .

They are so competitive and I feel so minority .

Please share your feelings

Don't let the little things in nursing school bother you or offend you. I went through nursing school and was 1 of 4 males amongst 59 female nursing students. None of us socialized much but I relate that more to stress of nursing school not the gender gap. I have seen many others posts asking if you just started nursing school or are deeper into it. If you are just starting out and they are younger it might take them a while to come around. Don't dwell on it, its not worth your time. If you need someone to study with become more proactive and ask some of the others if you can study with them. Maybe show them what you can bring to the table to help studies and the rest will work itself out. I now work in the real world and am not treated any diff then the other nurses. I am the only male on my floor and they joke with me and talk with me the same as they do the other female nurses. You are responsible for your experience in school, if its not what you need seek out some in your class that can help fulfill your needs and theirs also.:)
