Nursing Students Excelsior

VOMIT!!!!!!

I just registered for my first nursing exam. Transition to the professional RN. Did the practice exams. Got a 52% on A and a 72% on B.

Just guess the fear of the unknown.

Registered today but when I checked excelsior not says I cannot schedule my exam until 5/5 at the earliest. Don't know what is up with that.

Not really asking of looking for any validation, just need to express some built up nervousness.

I post it here since others can probably relate to what I am feeling/experiencing.

I will say that having done the exams recently the ones that were updated/changed recently were more difficult than the older ones and found less connection between practice exam and actual exam.

I'm noticing that as well....

For the exam that I was presented with today there were probably only 3-4 questions that were word for word from the practice test. The rest were either reworded or vaguely similar.

One thing I didn't appreciate was all of the SATA questions. Especially with an exam that is not clinically based and could be open for interpretation.

Actually had a ton SATA, i didn't care for that at all. ALOT focused on patient teaching also. Am so glad thats done. Off to foundations now.

I hate SATA questions. Haha. I always feel like I'm leaving something out. Did you use the practice test? Did it help any?
