Hello all!
Joe, it is likely the yoga studio has sessions scheduled to accommodate day workers, though you're right, they might be more difficult to get into due to demand. Hope you can find something that works for you! Good that Bath Therapy works for you! ?
We are up at the insistence of the alarm clock today, preparing to leave soon for the memorial service. We will pick up K along the way, and arrive about an hour early, for set-up. Our prayers are with our friend C, a friend, pastor, and musician, preparing his wife's memorial.
Our RV remains in "the shop," getting all units tested and inspected. We may get custody the day before we are scheduled to leave for Arizona. While we prefer to have more than 24 hours to prepare everything, we think we can get everything ready in time for a decent departure on the intended day. Then we will head to Arizona for (another, different) memorial service on Saturday, followed by jamming. Bluegrassers will usually hold a jam session after a brief memorial service, to bond the attendees, and do something the deceased would have liked. It's all very casual and comfortable.
Then after the weekend we will continue on to park on the festival grounds and wander and gab and chat and jam until the festival starts on that Friday - Sunday. Forecast is for high 60's to low 70's during the day (no rain) and 47-ish at night. We will be "dry camping," relying on solar cells for power during the day, and we can use our generator during the day, if needed. It is always our hope that using the (much-needed) heater during the night will not TOTALLY drain our batteries. Which will get charged during the day, by the solar cells. As they say, though, the best plans of mice and men...
Little dog is a shorthair, and gets cold easily. Dh ordered him a heating pad for his crate, that is charged by USB, and then ordered a little battery pack. Hopefully this will keep him warm for the duration of each night, re-charging the battery pack during the day. Again, best-laid plans... hope it works!!
Have a good day!
Another Saturday~ 45 degrees, and s'posta go up to 52, but I doubt it will. The sun is bright (!) but the breeze is pretty cool in the shade.
I noticed the doc put hubby back on Lisinopril and did not renew the diltazipam which is a cal.ch. blocker and also for BP. When I looked them up, the diltazipzam said, first thing: "may cause swelling in the limbs". Yikes! D'ya suppose that could be the cause of his edematous hand? Anyway, doc is away, but I have made an executive decision, since hubby has not been taking the Diltazipam regularly, I'm not too worried about 'stopping it w/o the doc's okay', and I will check his BP qd to see how it does on just the Lisinopril, which he HAD NOT been taking, either! KInd of annoying that doc is on vacation, but OH WELL. I am NOT on vacation, and even though I am NOT hubby's nurse, I feel okay for deciding this about the meds.
Got Nannie up....I know she had gotten up earlier, because 1.) she had her boots on while under the covers, and 2.) she had no pull-ups or pads on. Fortunately she hadn't drowned herself in urine, and the bed was only damp, not wet.
Hubby has gone up to rest on his bed. I know he slept twice yesterday afternoon, right before supper, and again after supper, he dozed an hour or more in the recliner. Then he has trouble sleeping at night, and wakes up early, like 4:30 AM. D'Oh!
Dull Saturday. Grocery trips both last night and tonight. I've decided I like the idea of pampering myself with a hot bath (thanks, Joe) and bought some smell-good stuff for that purpose. Think I'd like to have a small succulent plant for my office but didn't see anything while I was out. My laundry is washed and dried and in a pile on my bed.
Had a video call with stepdaughter and her 2 5-yr-olds.
The sun is bright here, too, and the next 3 days or so are expected to be warm and pleasant.

Hi Tweety
Ado glad the musical was good, haven't seen that one myself
NJ22 sounds like you had a nice time
Stars while it may not influence his drinking I agree it will be far less stressful once you find a place for her
Work wasn't too busy. Got a great compliment on a complicated case I helped with...but was promptly deflated by finding out I made relatively minor error on another case. Odd how compliments have little impact with me but criticism really stings. Something I will have to address.
By the end of the day I was fine again, thankfully while things sometimes hit very hard I usually bounce back fairly quickly. Rest of the day was pretty ordinary, usual hot bath and white Russian. Funny how a bath really calms me down, take me out of my head and focuses on the body. Think yoga tends to do the same
Have the dentist later this morning, after I make my coffee run. And then lunch with dad. Thankfully no baking to do today
Svengoolie has Duel, which I might have seen before. Though I might have seen the TV version instead.
Since yoga has proven helpful might look to a local yoga studio, although scheduling might prove difficult
Will get up into the low 40s today
