Afternoon all, I will be starting the LPN program in Spring 2011 at Charity School of Nursing. I was told I have too many hours and to submit an appeal for continuance of Financial aid. I have not heard anything yet from the commitee, and too afraid to call. I guess because of the anxiousness of starting and being consumed with so much at home, Im not ready to hear any bad news. Have anyone been in this position and have received approval. Or any advise would be appreciated.

i did the 'first' appeal, the one when i found out that i was under suspension for reaching the maximum time frame. it was pretty much me stating my 'case; to the board and they denied me and said i still have another appeal. i hope i get approved. i just have to wait until next monday when the campus is open.
;)I hope everything works out for you Chapis.

Set a date for yourself to pursue getting an answer. As a plan B, figure out where you want to work part time should you be denied, and start submitting applications for work. Both of these actions, being proactive about the matter, should help diminish your nervousness.
