jacks2009, I had to laugh when I read your post because just this morning, I looked out at the mailbox and there was a large envelope and my heart started beating really fast only to find out it was the Provider's Directory for my daughter's health insurance. LOL.

SOOOOOO I go to the mailbox and there was a large envelope.....hoping hoping....

Nope!! Not from FCCJ. It was from my mom-in-law. She was packing her house up (she was moving off the farm after her hubby passed)....and she found something that might interest us. News articles from 1984 from local SC papers and "Ironsides" an Army newspaper... declaring my hubby a hero for saving 2 lives on a Germany mountain peak. He was nominated for the "Soldiers Medal" which is the Army's highest peacetime award! WOW! First off, he looked Great at 20 yrs of age! LOL AND, I never 'saw' his son in him....until I saw his 'son' looking out from those pics in the newspaper! WOW....what time does to us all! AND, typical of my hubby, I had no knowledge of this until today....such a humble guy and definitely *my* hero!!! :heartbeat:yeah:

Dianne, that is so cool! Sorry it wasn't the envelope you were expecting, but what a great surprise.

I hope that darn envelope gets here soon. I said I wasn't going to make myself crazy over it, but it's starting to get to me now. LOL.

Yeah, I said the same thing to myself.....but with being laid off....and only 2 classes I am working on now...I am bored to death and have nothing else to do but hang out on allnurses and drive myself crazy!!!! LOL

Actually, I was thinking about taking up running to help. :bugeyes: That tells you how crazy this is....I *HATE* running!

That'll be a nice drive for you to the campus. LOL. I think it'll probably take me about 25-30 min. to the Northside from my house.
