Does anyone know if they are still giving preference to duval and nassau since they have changed to Florida State College of Jacksonville? I know they used old FCCJ applications for this spring application period. Just curious?

I went to the 'minute clinic' at CVS pharmacy at Touchton and Southside today. It was $30 and took about 15 minutes to get it done. I am trying to complete the fingerprinting portion and am having troubles with finding the website (http://fscjstudent.sofn.net). My computer is giving the option to use the same type of website but instead of FSCJ it is FCCJ. Has anyone else had problems and do you think using the FCCJ page would be okay?

I don't know if you figured it out yet but when you type in that address its going to come up with a page with 2 hyperlinks. Click on the first hyperlink and it will route you to the correct site.

Did anyone else received a letter or email over the weekend? I have a friend of mine who is a Duval County resident and her points were 199 and she still hasn't received anything yet!

Hmmmm! How strange is that??? There really doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to this process does there? I must admit, I'm glad to hear that all the letters are not out yet. However, what's up with some getting emails and some not??? So strange!

Orientation is going to be soooo long!:selfbonk: Did you guys get the tentative schedule and Nursing Students Handbook in the email? Orientation starts at 8:30 and we don't pick the lottery to 3:00 pm yowzers!

Wow! You may be right! My last name is vansoest. How many people were "attached" to your email, futurernmom? It's so funny that you say that because my son, who is 9, saw that I was bummed about not getting any mail and he said to me, "Mom, your last name does start with a V. It takes longer for us because of that"!!!

But, having just said all of that, I checked my friends last name (on facebook!, lol) that got in with over 200 points and her last name begins with an S!!!! So...now what?? LOL

The email with the packet there were 4 people attached to that email and the email with the orientation information and student handbook 6 people were attached to that one

That's pretty weird!!! I don't know exactly what they are doing but they should of sent all the letters out at one time! I don't understand how some people got emails some got mail. I received both in the same day and a friend of mine just received it in the mail on friday.... I just hope tomorrow you hear something, on my letter it said you have to accept your seat by tomorrow November 16th! They want all info and documents turned in to the nursing department by Dec. 7th!

Mine was sent the first day. My last name is Webb so I hade other W's in with my attachment. There is still hope though guard your mailboxes. I think the last day to accept your spot is the 16th which is monday so maybe you'll get something the day of.
